My review of Fairly Odd Parent's Season 9, so far.

Season9 amazon

In order of episodes:

Fairly Odd Pet: Introduced Sparky, had its share of touching moments (especially the video 'Timmy Turner, best pet owner ever'), referenced Phineas and Ferb.  Intro now shows Poof, presentation ratio changed.  Not bad for a season opener.  Overall, Good

Dinklescouts: Good use of Timmy's Dad v. Dinkleberg dynamic, and had another nice, touching ending (Timmy's Dad saving everyone from a bear).  Nothing special here, except some nice father/son bonding.  Good/ Very Good.

I Dream of Cosmo: Timmy's Dad again.  Paired with Cosmo, they turn the attic into a literal mancave, with Timmy and Wanda shrank and fighting for there lives (again). Good/Very Good.

Turner & Pooch: Finally, Crocker has a plot that isn't predictable.  Second title in a row to allude to some old pre-1990s adult-enjoyed TV show/film.  Wacky (in a predictable way) ending, caused by Cosmo.  Average.

Dumbbell Curve: Timmy saves Dimmsdale (or, in this case, Dumbsdale) from beig destroyed for the one billionth time.  First time they have actually have got to be creative with flanderization.  Average.

The Terrible Twosome: Another use of Poof's baby status as a plot device.  Clever title.  Average/Good.

App Trap: Has a type of plot you wouldn't see in 1998.  Plenty of references to other Nick cartoons.  First ever female smartphone villain.  Average/Good (due to inventiveness).

Force of Nature: TUFF Puppy-like animals, unwiseness (and cleverness) on Timmy's part, and a goose with a Canadian accent.  Good.

Viral Vidiots: Timmy's Mom's first important appearance, a modern plot reminisicent of 'App Trap', some good Crocker jokes.  Good.

Scary God Couple: Vicky appears, gets a fairy, makes things miserable.  AbraCatastrophe but on a much smaller scale.  Average/Good.

Two and a Half Babies: Praticularly clever title.  Poof/Foop again.  Foop suffers Karma at the end.  Average/Good (due to their using of Foop).

Anchors Away: Compares Timmy's Dad to Chet Ubetcha, with some success.  Average, approaching Subpar. (in comparison to other episodes)

Finding Emo: Yet another title spoofing a movie.  Creates a rival to Trixie and Tootie, and has a nice ending.  Average/Good.

Dust Busters: Interesting plot. Some good jokes.  House got destroyed (again).  Average/Good, leaning towards Average (the humor rather balanced out by the disturbingness of the some scenes).

The Bored Identity: Bears some parelells with Action Packed! and has Timmy's Dad cast as a James Bond-esque spy.  Good.

Country Clubbed: Remy shows up for the first time in three seasons.  Average/Good (due to Remy reappearing).

Dog Gone: Uses an obscure character again (Ed Leadly), this time as a clear-cut villain and abusive boss.  Good (due to Ed Leadly reappearing).

Turner Back in Time: Inventive plot, placing the Turners in the Buxaplenty's shoes.  Average/Good.

Cosmonopoly: Very clever using the game in a episode.  Besides that, it is rather unremarkable.  Average/Good (due to the creativity in the premise).

Hero Hound:  Sparky as a superhero shakes things up.  This episode had more Sparky-ness than usual (that's a good thing, of course).  Creativity is healthy.  Good, approaching Average.

A Boy and His Dog-Boy: Interesting premise (which was wasted a bit). Charts out some specifics realting to fairy pets.  Dumbs down Doug Dimmadome a bit (making his hate tables for some reason).  Average/Subpar, with large amounts of Weird.

Crock Blocked: Interesting plot.  Has Timmy actually plan more than Crocker.  Average/Good, leaning towards the Good side.

Weirdos on a Train: Promising idea, wasted.  Just plain Average.

Tons of Timmys: Feasty, self-referential, even a funny fourth wall breakage.  Good.

Let the Sleeper Dogs Lie: 2nd time Crocker captures Sparky.  Average.

I don't have the time to do more at the moment.  There will be a part 2 later.  Ta!
