  • The owl that brings a letter wears a red-and-yellow scarf, which is a reference to Harry Potter (it refers to the Gryffindor House which is the house that the three main characters are in in the series).
  • Juandissimo appears in this episode without Remy.
  • When Britney Britney thought she was getting an award, she may have been alluding to a Dimmy award.
  • This episode is feature as one of two bonus episodes in the DVD version of Fairy Idol (DVD and VHS).
  • Luthor Lex's name is a parody of Lex Luthor the main enemy of Superman.
  • Cosmo and Wanda went to the same high school together.
