- This is the first appearance of The Crimson Chin. He is voiced by Daran Norris in this appearance, and by Jay Leno in all subsequent appearances.
- The robot that the Crimson Chin battles against in his comic looks very similar to the Frederator Studios mascot.
- The name Timmy takes when he finally wishes for all of his powers is Turbo Timmy; Later in the sixth season finale Wishology, this is the same name he takes, although the costume is very different.
- This is the final of the four episodes that aired after Mary Kay Bergman's death.
- A magazine Cosmo holds spells "tough" as "TUFF", which is similar to T.U.F.F. Puppy, although this episode was created well over a decade beforehand and thus the similarities are unintentional.also another magazine that Wanda was holding said Buff which is British Undercover Fighting Force in an episode of T.U.F.F Puppy.
- These are the Super Heroes that Timmy wished for that are based on real-life DC and Marvel comic-book heroes:
- Creature Kid- Beast Boy, Beast, and Black Panther.
- Senator Sinew- Hulk, The Thing, Colossus, and Robotman.
- Comet Commando- Flash, Quicksilver, Captain Atom, Captain Marvel (DC), and Hawkman.
- Turbo Timmy- Superman, and Iron Man.
- This is the last episode in the Oh Yeah Cartoons! segment before the series premiere of the show.
- The goldfish has the same voice as Vicky.
