• This is the first appearance of The Crimson Chin. He is voiced by Daran Norris in this appearance, and by Jay Leno in all subsequent appearances.
• The robot that the Crimson Chin battles against in his comic looks very similar to the Frederator Studios mascot.
• The name Timmy takes when he finally wishes for all of his powers is Turbo Timmy; Later in the sixth season finale Wishology, this is the same name he takes, although the costume is very different.

• A magazine Cosmo holds spells "tough" as "TUFF", which is similar to T.U.F.F. Puppy, although this episode was created well over a decade beforehand and thus the similarities are unintentional.also another magazine that Wanda was holding said Buff which is British Undercover Fighting Force in an episode of T.U.F.F Puppy.
