Crocker of Gold is the twenty-fifth episode of Season 7.
Plot[]
After a near-death experience, Denzel Crocker decides to forget about fairies and starts to hunt leprechauns, but when Cosmo disguised as a leprechaun gives him the pot of gold from the McPunchies clan, Wanda and Poof are taken hostage and Timmy and Cosmo must get it back.
Synopsis[]
As the episode starts at his house, Mr. Crocker builds a portal to Fairy World, but it instead turned him into goo. Denzel's mother Dolores-Day tells him he wasted his life chasing fairies (all the while, whacking him with a broom, even when he restores himself to normal). So he picked her up and froze her with a freezer gun. Crocker then goes to his wheel of destiny to find a new vocation. The
first that comes out is Women, but Crocker says "Let's be realistic" and the wheel ended in leprechauns. He finds it the perfect fit, as leprechauns can't fly and isn't magical like fairies can and they have pots of gold. Because he can't go to Ireland on a teacher's salary, he instead settles for Little Ireland, Dimmsdale's predominantly Irish neighborhood.
There, Cosmo is telling his family about Leprechanuka, a holiday in which the Great Potato comes to give joy and happiness. Because of the way Cosmo was dressed, Crocker mistook him for a leprechaun and captured him, demanding gold from him as well. After Crocker gets the gold, Cosmo returns to the restaurant with the others and explains the situation to them. When Wanda expresses shock and questions her husband on where he could've gotten the pot of gold that he gave to Mr. Crocker (especially since Da Rules explicitly fairies can't poof up money). Cosmo admits that he stole the pot of gold he gave to Timmy's teacher from a group of leprechauns—said leprechauns are revealed to be a family of criminal leprechauns called the McPunchies (it also turns out that Cosmo had been stupid enough to leave a note revealing to the McPunchies what he did to them).
The McPunchies are angry with Cosmo for what he did and demand their gold—Timmy explains what happened to the McPuncheis and promises to take them to Mr. Crocker. Big Dave (a huge leprechaun) stays behind to go with Cosmo and Timmy to recover the gold from Mr. Crocker while telling his (smaller) brothers, Lucky and Greeny, to take Wanda and Poof back to Ireland with them. Unfortunately, Mr. Crocker has already spent all of the gold that was in the pot by the time Timmy, Cosmo and Big Dave catch up to him—Big Dave clearly isn't happy about this and gives Timmy, Cosmo and Mr. Crocker until the end of Leprechaunuka to recover the pot of gold (Timmy also expresses surprise at the fact that Leprechaunuka's an actual holiday). After Big Dave heads back to Ireland (taking Crocker's wheel-of-destiny with him), Crocker (along with Timmy and Cosmo, who's still in his leprechaun outfit) try various ways to make up for all the gold that Crocker spent.
The first thing they try is Cosmo and Timmy competing in a figure skating competing with Crocker as one of the judges—if Timmy and his godfather get three perfect 10s, they'll win the gold medal. While the first two judges give them perfect 10s, Crocker (out of habit) gives them an F, which earns him angry glares from Timmy and Cosmo—afterwards, they go to a gold mine, where Cosmo warns them of the eighth dwarf, Crazy, who is giant and attacks them (and his seven brothers) with a chainsaw. The time ends and Dave takes Crocker to his realm. Timmy and Cosmo follow them, and they are led to Ireland. Wanda and Poof were having a great time, eating Lucky Bits.
Dave returns and asks Greeny and Lucky to get him the human vaporizer, but they can't find it cause everything's green in Ireland. When Timmy and Cosmo arrive, Dave says he'll cook the four of them. Then Cosmo's belief in the Great Potato brought it to life, who scares the McPunchy-brothers into letting Cosmo and the others go. Timmy apologizes to the McPunchy-brothers about not being able to get their gold back, but Big Dave admits that they cared more about getting the pot back, as it's an old family heirloom (which, judging from Big Dave's reaction, has a lot of sentimental value). The gang gives the cauldron back to the McPunchies and head back home, where Crocker decides against hunting leprechauns and to try hunting/obsessing over something else. The Wheel of Destiny initially lands on dwarves, but Crocker (not wanting to run into Crazy the Eighth Dwarf) ends the episode by spinning it again, and it lands on fairies, making everything go back to normal.
