California is a state on the western seaboard of the United States of America. It is the location of Dimmsdale, the primary setting of The Fairly OddParents. The location of Dimmsdale within Califiornia is not very clear, as often contradictory information is presented such as "Christmas Every Day" showing it to be in northern California, while "Fairy Idol" gives the location as southern California. However, given that Dimmsdale is subject to severe snowstorms in the winter, it is probably safe to assume, it's in the northern part of the state, as the southern part of California does not usually have snows and it's winters are very mild. It is also the location of the city called Brightburg a town which was Dimmsdale's rival in terms of popularity (at least until it was destroyed in Mother Nature).
California is the thirty-first state to join the United States of America. It is the most populous state in the country, and is famous for its film making industry. It is also third-largest state in the United States, with an area of approximately 163,696 miles. California borders the following states: Nevada, Arizona and Oregon. It also borders Mexico, which is outside the United States. The state however is known to have a various number of disasters (e.g. volcanoes, earthquakes, etc.) The capital of California is Sacremento, which is just below Dimmsdale.
