Wikia is organizing a competition called Time to Play. It's a way Wikia found to honor and promote the best article of which Wiki. You can learn more about "Time to Play", here.

First, as many of you have learned, The Fairly OddParents is coming back for another season. This includes a live action Christmas movie and an unspecified amount of episodes. I've been absent a lot lately, and I'm not sure how much time I'll even be able to put into this wiki anymore when episodes start rolling out again, so I ask other fans to keep an ear out for FOP related news because for all we know Nickelodeon might start broadcasting new episodes with none of us knowing.

Thanks to those that fought the vandalism during this downtime. I've been cleaning up what I can, but I advise those uploading images to the wiki to please not just randomly add them to episode image galleries, especially if they put them out of chronological order.…

I've made some updates to the era template so it now displays on the left, and with bigger icons.

The icons should be ordered as follows:

1. Featured article star (if applicable)
2. Article type (Character / Episode / Song / Gallery / Trivia / Quotes) (NOTE: I have not yet added these yet)
3. Season number (What season does this article apply to?)
4. Character icon (For the character's articles, episodes they appear in)

As some of you have noticed, I've been replacing our image galleries with high quality screenshots from better recordings than what are commonly available on the net. These screenshots have no logos blocking parts of them, and are of a higher resolution (640x480) than the older pics.

The process is a bit time consuming but I've already managed to get quite a few episodes done. However, so that other users don't waste their time uploading galleries for these episodes, here are the ones that I have:

I've noticed nobody has really been nominating or voting on featured articles but I'm sure there are plenty of pages that deserve to be recognized.

Leave a comment below recommending a character or episode page to be considered! Remember, a featured article must:

• Be complete. If its an episode, it should have a full summary and pictures/quotes to go with it. If it is a character, all their appearances should be cataloged, all their images in the image gallery, and some quotes and trivia about them in the other pages.
• Few or no red links (links to non-existent articles). Preferably none. An exception is linking to stuff thats hard to find like Fairly OddParents comics/books/video games and such.

I've improved some sections of the site, notable the Community Portal and Featured Article Voting.

Also the policy of the Wiki is now more clear and outlined, and can be found here. Keep in mind that these are mostly guidelines to help improve the Wiki, and users will only be blocked for serious offenses (dangerous uploads, badge cheating, harassment, ect.), more details can be found at the Blocking Policy page.

I've created a whole bunch of new userboxes for your userpage.

Since the achievement system has so far helped our Wiki, I've decided to keep it for now. However, since we are running out of Episodes and Categories to earn badges for, I'm going to create some new badges for the References, Appearances, Image galleries, and Quote pages categories.

I need ideas for names for each badge and the related image that goes with the badge.

Each category has:

• Three bronze badges (10 points each)
• Three silver badges (50 points each)
• Two gold badges (100 points each)

Everyone probably noticed we have a new award/point system, courtesy of the Wikia staff. I'll be working on some nice badges for the Wiki in stuff. I'm not 100% sure how this works myself, but in the coming days expect more updates!
